POSITION:                   Project Engineer

LOCATION:                  Pakchong, Nakhon Ratchasima

JOB TYPE:                    1 year contract

SALARY RANGE:          55,000 – 65,000 THB

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support execution of CAPEX projects, factory improvement initiatives, equipment installation, and cross-functional coordination within the pet food manufacturing site. The role is highly focused on on-site execution, contractor coordination, installation management, and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to engineering standards

• This role is highly focused on on-site project execution, installation coordination, contractor management, and factory implementation activities. Candidate is expected to spend significant time in production and construction areas supporting actual execution work.

Project Execution Support

• Support on-site execution of engineering and CAPEX projects within manufacturing area.

• Coordinate daily installation and construction activities with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor site execution progress, workmanship quality, and installation readiness.

• Support shutdown execution, machine installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.

• Ensure project execution follows site safety, food safety, and engineering standards.

• Conduct on-site verification before and during execution to ensure readiness and avoid operational impact.

• Escalate execution risks, delays, or technical issues to project lead.

• Follow up contractor manpower, schedule adherence, and daily progress.

• Support project execution during weekends, shutdown periods, or night work when required.

• Support engineering team in managing CAPEX and factory improvement projects.

• Coordinate project activities between Engineering, Operations, QA, Safety, Procurement, and contractors.

• Follow up project timeline, action tracking, and milestone progress.

• Support installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and shutdown activities.

• Prepare project documentation such as RFQ, meeting minutes, technical comparison, project tracker, and progress reports.

• Support site preparation and construction coordination according to equipment installation requirements.

• Assist in monitoring contractor activities to ensure safety and compliance.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding technical information, quotation follow-up, delivery schedule, and site activities.

• Support engineering team in managing CAPEX and factory improvement projects.

• Coordinate project activities between Engineering, Operations, QA, Safety, Procurement, and contractors.

• Follow up project timeline, action tracking, and milestone progress.

• Support installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and shutdown activities.

• Prepare project documentation such as RFQ, meeting minutes, technical comparison, project tracker, and progress reports.

• Support site preparation and construction coordination according to equipment installation requirements.

• Assist in monitoring contractor activities to ensure safety and compliance.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding technical information, quotation follow-up, delivery schedule, and site activities.

Technical & Documentation Support

• Prepare engineering documentation including layout review, equipment list, PFD/P&ID mark-up, and technical data collection.

• Support spare parts and technical document management.

• Assist in preparing project approval documents, budget tracking, and spending updates.

• Support data collection for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Cross Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with production team to minimize production impact during project execution.

• Support communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

• Participate in project meetings and follow up action closure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in engineering, manufacturing, project execution, or factory operations.
• Experience in food, pet food, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Experience in project installation or factory environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of engineering systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good coordination and project follow-up skills.
• Basic understanding of safety requirements in factory environment.
• Good communication in Thai and English.
• Strong field execution mindset and willingness to work on-site.
