Project Engineer - EVC

About the role

Project Engineer / Assistant Project Engineer role supporting the delivery of Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC) projects to clients in accordance with project requirements. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Engineering team on project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer in delivering EVC projects to clients in accordance with project requirements
• Support Project Engineers in coordinating with business partners and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline
• Assist in providing technical solutions and engineering support for EVC projects
• Conduct site surveys with contractors and prepare project schedules, progress reports, and other required project documentation
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, Customer Service Executives (CSE), Sales, and other relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of materials, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Conduct site briefings and toolbox meetings to ensure contractors and workers are aware of all workplace safety requirements, hazards, and safe work procedures
• Supervise site activities and attend project meetings to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and schedule
• Prepare material requirements and purchase requisitions for timely procurement of project materials
• Support project in the preparation and submission of engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Support the preparation and submission of project progress claims, project reports, and documentation required for invoicing

About you

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Green Building & Sustainability, or a related engineering discipline
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and other technical drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Relevant experience in the electrical engineering field is preferred
