Project Engineer (Fire Protection)

Job Summary:
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing fire alarm and electrical system projects from initiation to completion. This includes design review, installation supervision, testing & commissioning, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with main contractor, consultant and owner for project requirement

In charge of material submission, design review and progress claim

Plan for site work installation, worker deployment and material requisition

Monitor cost estimating, developing a budget and resource planning

Prepare project progress reports, method statements, and risk assessments.

Maintain proper documentation for drawings, approvals, and test reports.

Monitor project cost and control variations within budget.

Working with vendors in controlling cost and quality of products

Implement quality assurance and safety procedures on site.

Education, Qualifications and Experience requirement:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field.

Experience in project management would be of added advantage

Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to travel and work at project sites as required.

IT literate

Good in paper work
