Project Engineer (Genesys Cloud, DevOps & Contact Center Solutions)

About the role

A Project Engineer role specializing in Genesys Cloud, DevOps, and Contact Center Solutions. You will deploy and maintain robust enterprise Contact Center platforms, configure and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure, administer Genesys ecosystems, and build cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain robust enterprise Contact Center platforms, focusing on call routing, Interactive Voice Response systems, Computer Telephony Integration, and omnichannel services.
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot Session Initiation Protocol trunking, Voice over Internet Protocol systems, and Session Border Controllers using AudioCodes hardware and software.
• Administer and optimize Genesys ecosystems, including hands-on support for Genesys Engage, PureConnect, and Genesys Cloud Customer Experience platforms.
• Build, configure, and orchestrate cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes environments.
• Execute rigorous System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and failover validation to maintain high reliability and seamless operations.
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design blueprints, test scripts, change management guides, and final as-built reference files.
• Partner with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver technical guidance during project scoping, timeline development, and client discussions.
• Provide post-deployment technical assistance, system diagnostics, and vendor management to resolve complex operational issues efficiently.

About you

• One to three years of hands-on experience specializing in Contact Center platforms, enterprise voice infrastructure, or telecommunications solutions.
• Strong technical proficiency in public cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services, with an emphasis on networking, security, and integration interfaces.
• Practical knowledge of container management frameworks, including Docker technologies and Kubernetes cluster orchestration.
• Familiarity with modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical problem-solving skills along with clear and professional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux distributions, and database systems such as Structured Query Language Server or Oracle.
• Language proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to interface with diverse stakeholders and clients.
