PROJECT ENGINEER (High Rise Building)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with strong high-rise building construction experience to oversee and coordinate site engineering activities, ensuring projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil and structural construction works for high-rise building projects.
• Review and interpret approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, materials, and construction activities in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare and review RFIs, MIRs, inspection requests, method statements, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Identify construction problems and implement appropriate technical solutions and corrective actions.
• Monitor project activities against approved programs, schedules, and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, HSE requirements, approved specifications, and quality procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and approvals.
• Assist the Project Manager in project planning, progress monitoring, and technical coordination.
• Maintain proper documentation and provide regular updates on site progress and technical matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• not less than 6 years of relevant experience, in high-rise building construction.
• Strong UAE construction experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in high-rise residential/commercial building projects.
• Good knowledge of civil, structural, finishing, and construction coordination works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and preferably Primavera/MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, QA/QC procedures, and site coordination.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills.
