About this role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and managing various engineering projects within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering principles, project management, and effective communication, Smart Manufacturing, Factory Automation with equipment or whole line integration experience, Factory Facility Monitoring and Management Control System (FMCS), Energy Management System (EMS), PLC programming, IIOT etc. If you are a working professional, Delta is a great place to get ahead**.**

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful execution.
• Manage tasks, timelines, milestones, materials, equipment, and services.
• Monitor progress continuously to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Apply engineering expertise to design, develop, and propose suitable project solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establish quality control processes, conduct inspections/tests, and implement corrective actions for any defects or deviations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues impacting timelines or goals.
• Maintain clear, open communication with team members, clients, and leadership.
• Conduct regular status meetings and deliver progress reports highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Foster a collaborative, cohesive team environment.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately across the project team.
• Motivate team members to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Control, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related fields).
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
• Solid understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in English both writing and speaking skills; Mandarin speaking proficiency is highly valued and will be prioritized.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel occasionally is required based on project needs.
