Project Engineer (IPT Lead)

Akkodis is seeking a Project Engineer (IPT Lead) for a Contract job with a client in Anaheim, CA . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Aerospace or Manufacturing industry.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Mathematics, Computer Science) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, inclusive of 1 year of leadership experience, in lieu of a degree min of 10 years of experience.
• 4+ years experience and knowledge in developing, proposing, managing, implementing, testing products and system solutions in power systems or related including: Naval power or power conversion systems / Military production products with complex electro-mechanical assemblies / Production product lifecycle management.
• 4+ years experience in temperature, humidity, shock and vibration testing and certification.
• 2+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
• 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.

Desired Qualifications:

• OPTRO (formally audit board) – would be helpful if they have that experience.
• Experience from a publicly traded company.
• Good Communication, able to present effectively.
• Technical Masters’ Degree (MSEE, MSCE, MSSE).
