​About the Role

​We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Project Manager (Joinery) to oversee high-end commercial, hospitality, and residential fit-out projects from concept through client handover. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in custom woodworking, interior fit-out execution, shop drawing coordination, and commercial contract management.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Project Execution: Lead end-to-end site implementation, joinery installation, and interior fit-out works, ensuring compliance with architectural specs, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• ​Commercial & Contract Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, variations, and valuation certificates. Apply knowledge of standard conditions of contract (e.g., FIDIC) to manage project risks and scopes effectively.
• ​Production & Technical Coordination: Liaise between site operations, factory production teams, draftsmen, and estimation teams. Review submittals, shop drawings, cutting lists, and material approvals (veneers, solid woods, door cores, board materials).
• ​Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve site interface issues and secure timely sign-offs.
• ​Procurement & Resources: Coordinate material procurement schedules, monitor PC sums, and optimize site labor allocation to meet project deadlines without sacrificing quality.

​Requirements & Qualifications

• ​Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.
• ​Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience managing high-end custom joinery and interior fit-out projects in the UAE/GCC region.
• ​Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading complex architectural and joinery shop drawings, wood specs, finishing schedules, and CAD/3D details.
• ​Contractual Knowledge: Solid grasp of commercial variations, scope control, valuation procedures, and contract administration.
• ​Leadership: Exceptional leadership, client-facing communication, negotiation, and site-problem-solving skills.
• ​Driver’s License: Valid UAE driving license required.
