Project Engineer (Kitchen / Electrical Appliances)

Project Engineer : Baby Brezza is seeking a Project Engineer to strengthen our Hong Kong based R&D team as we develop new innovations that drive our global expansion.

Category : Mechanical / Electronic engineering

Salary : Negotiable based on qualification

1. Process Design and Optimization: Develop and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
2. Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of production machinery and equipment.
3. Quality Control: Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as design, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless production flow.
5. Project Management: Oversee specific production projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Bachelor of Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 4 year college education

·         5 years or more experience as a Project Engineer developing appliance products, preferably in juvenile appliance category.

·         Must be proficient in the following aspects of engineering design for high volume manufacturing:

o   Designing plastics for Injection Molding, Extrusion and Joining (sonic and solvents)

o   Designing complex moving mechanisms that include gear trains, motors and pumps

o   Experience designing products that have moving fluids and plumbing

o   Integrating electronics with the mechanical design including basic knowledge of how electronic circuits work.

·         Excellent communication skills.  Speaks and Writes fluently in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

·         Superior computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.  Basic CAD skills with either Pro/e or Solidworks to view parts, assemblies and cross sections to provide engineering comments to OEM’s.

·         Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail.
