About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer - Licensed Civil Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at our Malolos City, Bulacan office. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful construction projects whilst developing your expertise in project management and engineering practice.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily project operations, including site supervision, quality control, and coordination of construction activities
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and as-built drawings
• Monitor adherence to project schedules, budgets, and contractual obligations, identifying and addressing deviations
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and engineering standards
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction challenges
• Manage material procurement, testing, and quality assurance processes on site
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies for permits and approvals
• Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel and junior engineering staff

What we're looking for

• Current and valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in civil and structural engineering project delivery
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and engineering standards relevant to civil and structural works
• Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering design and analysis tools
• Excellent technical drawing and blueprint interpretation skills
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, project scheduling, and resource management
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical matters
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management practices in construction
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities simultaneously
• Preference for candidates with experience in commercial, infrastructure, or residential construction projects
• Preference for candidates with knowledge of Philippine building codes and construction regulations
