Project Engineer (Mechanical & ELectrical)

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our project management team at Damai Abadi (Johor) Sdn Bhd. You will be responsible for managing mechanical and electrical aspects of projects from design to completion, ensuring all systems and works are delivered and executed according to specifications, quality, safety standards and timeline. You will be reporting to Project Director.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage mechanical and electrical works from design stage to construction and handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Review and prepare mechanical and electrical drawings, load calculations and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Monitor site progress, quality of works, testing & commissioning and project timelines.

Competence Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (recognized qualification).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical & electrical project or site supervision is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, building mechanical systems, electrical systems, LV/MV and building services.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit/BIM is an advantage).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in hotel, high-rise, or mixed-development projects is an advantage.
• Willing to relocate.
