Project Engineer Mechanical (Data Center Construction) - Cikarang

About the role

We're looking for a Project Engineer Mechanical to support an enterprise Data Center industry. The role is based in Cikarang, West Java.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage mechanical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain smooth workflow
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the engineering team
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct risk assessments as required
• Monitor progress, manpower, and material usage, and maintain accurate site documentation
• Lead testing and commissioning prior to project handover
• Train and guide site workers on mechanical best practices and safety procedures

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer Mechanical, must have experience in data center
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, and fabrication work
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams, contractors, and vendors
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
• Familiar with data center systems, installation, commissioning, HVAC
• Proficient in engineering and documentation tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage technical issues during project execution
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Fluent in English
