Project Engineer- (Mechanical or Manufacturing degree)

Duties:

· Design and fabricate various molds, fixtures, and machines to aid the production and manufacturing of engineered foam products.

· Utilize CAD software to produce designs and engineering drawings for the on-site machine shop.

· Utilize CAM software and the CNC machines available to produce prototypes and samples for customers.

Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Required

· Minimum of 2 years experience with Solidworks is required.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / blueprints is required.

· A strong understanding of machine components and their applications is required.

· Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software is preferred.

· Experience working with 3 axis machining centers and lathes, is preferred.

· Knowledge of precision measuring devices used to ensure product quality & accuracy is preferred.

· Knowledge of electrical circuits and control cabinet assembly is preferred.

· Metal fabrication skills using welders, saws, and grinding equipment is preferred.

The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated, mechanically inclined engineer with a solid knowledge of the manufacturing industry and how machines and fixtures are assembled. The candidate will work to design, fabricate, and improve equipment used in the production of various foam products. The candidate should be comfortable working in a machine shop environment and be willing to work hands on with the different machine tools available to them.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
