Job title: Project Engineer (Network)

Job Info:

• Basic up to $5000 + Phone Allowance $30 + AWS + VB
• Working Days & Hours, 5.5 days (Alt Sat, half day) - Depends on the site
• Office is located at Pioneer

Job Scope:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage structured cabling and ELV works across project sites.

• Review ELV, structured cabling, and network drawings and coordinate installation works according to project requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and rectification works to ensure systems are fully functional before handover.

• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues on site and coordinate with relevant parties for timely resolution.

• Review and maintain shop drawings, as-built drawings, site reports, and handover documentation.

• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

• Willing to travel islandwide to different project sites as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Project Engineering, preferably within structured cabling, ELV, telecommunications, or network infrastructure projects.
• Candidates with a strong structured cabling background are preferred.
• Experience in Data Centre or MINDEF-related projects will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of structured cabling systems, ELV systems, installation practices, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
