Project Engineer / Pasig

About the role

This role involves conducting site inspections and surveys to assess project conditions and gather relevant data, preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications using CAD software, and monitoring project progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project conditions and gather relevant data
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation using CAD software and industry-standard tools
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and project proposals
• Conduct quality assurance checks and perform testing of structural elements and materials
• Document project progress through reports, photographs, and site records
• Support senior engineers in problem-solving and continuous improvement of project delivery methods
• Liaise with clients and relevant authorities to address project concerns and obtain necessary approvals

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent qualification, or eligibility to obtain one
• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in mechanical engineering project
• Strong proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and project management tools
• Solid understanding of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations applicable in the Philippines
• Excellent knowledge of structural design principles and construction methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
