Project Engineer (Pipeline)

Company Overview:
We are LCP, a company specializing in providing EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) services. As a leading provider in the oil and gas industry, we are looking for an experienced Engineer/Project Manager with expertise in pipelines, civil engineering, and the oil and gas sector to join our team

Project Location: Sarawak – Bintulu

Job Requirements:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in pipeline engineering, civil engineering, and the oil and gas industry;
• Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring;
• Strong project management skills, including resource management, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management;
• Experience in civil engineering and construction management, including handling site work, foundation, structural, and earthwork elements;
• Ability to coordinate effectively with owners, main contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and quality completion of the project;
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills;
• Preference will be given to candidates with a Mandarin background. "We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and delivery;
• Coordinate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, ensuring the project stays on schedule and meets quality standards;
• Oversee the civil engineering aspects of the project, including foundation work, structural design, and site management;
• Supervise and manage the project team, ensuring smooth daily operations and addressing any project-related issues;
• Maintain regular communication with owners, contractors, and stakeholders to address concerns and keep the project on track;
• Develop and adjust project plans as necessary to accommodate changes or challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, and/or the oil and gas industry;
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera);
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to interact with international teams and clients;
• PMP certification preferred;
• Ability to work well under pressure and travel as needed.
