Project Engineer (Project-in-Charge)

Duties and responsibilities

Ø Coordinates with sub -contractors in the delivery of a project.

Ø Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.

Ø Responsible for day-to-day execution of the project schedule

Ø Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems

Ø Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; preparing cost estimates.

Ø Provides interface with the client

Ø Responsible for material and budget requisition and liquidation.

Ø Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.

Ø Responsible for project recommendations for progress billing, and certificate of completion.

Ø Coordinates all site works including third party vendors, ensuring works meet specifications and requirements

Ø Responsible for project handover to Client

Ø Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Ø Diploma in Engineering / Building Studies / Project Management related discipline or other similar qualifications

Ø 1-2 years’ relevant experience specially in Metals Doors and Roll ups

Ø Able to work independently with a high level of initiatives

Ø Must be willing to work in extended working hours and on-site assignment.

Ø Willing to multitask.

Ø Team and client oriented

Ø Good collaborative, negotiation, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

Ø Computer Literate
