Position: Project Engineer – Modular Cabinets

Department: Production / Projects

Responsible for the technical planning, design review, site coordination, and on-schedule execution of modular cabinet projects. Translates design concepts into precise engineering specifications, oversees fabrication and installation, ensures quality standards, and resolves technical issues across all project phases. Bridges design, production, and installation teams to deliver safe, accurate, and cost-effective modular cabinet solutions.

Job Description

Key Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design (Engineering focus preferred)
• Familiarity with modular cabinet materials, hardware, and fabrication processes
• ​Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related design/engineering software
• Strong understanding of structural standards, measurements, and building codes
• Experience in furniture, joinery, interior fit-out, or modular construction is an advantage
• ​Organized, detail-oriented, with good communication and problem-solving skill

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Review architectural and interior plans; create/approve technical drawings, cut lists, and material schedules
• Ensure designs are structurally sound, dimensionally accurate, and suited to manufacturing and site conditions
• Select appropriate materials, hardware, and construction methods for durability and cost-efficiency

Project Coordination & Execution

• Plan project timelines: from design approval → material procurement → fabrication → delivery → installation
• Coordinate with production team, installers, suppliers, and clients to align schedules and resolve issues
• Conduct site surveys and take precise measurements to ensure perfect fit and avoid rework

Quality Control & Compliance

• Inspect fabricated units and monitor installation for workmanship, alignment, and adherence to specs
• Enforce safety standards and proper handling of materials and tools
• Track project costs, timelines, and change orders; report progress and delays to management

Documentation & Support

• Maintain project files: drawings, revisions, approvals, inspection reports, and completion certificates
• Provide technical guidance to production and installation teams; resolve site problems promptly
• ​Assist in improving production methods and product quality

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
