Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer Renewable Energy (Wind, Solar)

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Development Area

· Feasibility & Due Diligence: Prepare project feasibility studies and technical due diligence by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand.

· Stakeholder Presentation: Present and explain feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and engineering designs to internal and external partners, as well as potential investors.

· Cost & Contract Management: Prepare project development cost estimations, lead bid evaluations, manage contract preparations, and monitor budgets during project execution.

· Goal Setting: Establish scientific or technical goals within the broad outlines provided by top management.

· Strategic Leadership: Influence senior management, maintain a strategic outlook, and manage change effectively where necessary.

· Technical Support: Lead and provide specialized technical support throughout the project development phase.

2. Project Management Area

· Project Execution: Manage multiple existing projects toward the achievement of quantifiable deliverables. Develop overall project execution plans, control budgets, and coordinate/delegate work assignments to internal resources while tracking key project milestones.

· Work Organization: Organize, plan, and prioritize work by developing specific goals to ensure projects are accomplished efficiently.

· Meeting Leadership: Coordinate and lead project meetings involving all members of the project team and relevant stakeholders.

· Project Delivery: Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the defined scope, and within budget.

· Resource Allocation: Ensure resource availability, optimal allocation, and effective management.

Job Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical Power Engineering.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in successful project management with a proven track record in project execution (Direct experience in Substations and/or Power Plants is a MUST.)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and work collaboratively within a team environment.

· Strong organizational and coordination abilities and Demonstrated ability to deliver completed projects end-to-end.
