Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (Security Systems / ELV)

• Position: Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer (Security Systems / ELV)

• Location: Outram office and project sites islandwide

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm. Night and weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.

• Salary:

  • Project Engineer: Up to $4,500 Basic
  • Senior Project Engineer: Up to $5,500 Basic
  • Transport Allowance: Up to $750 for car or $400 for motorcycle

Main Responsibilities

• Manage assigned security-system projects from planning and installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials and site activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate the installation and commissioning of CCTV, access control, alarm and related ELV systems.
• Ensure completed works meet project specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
• Attend project meetings and resolve site or technical coordination issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress records and handover documents.
• Attend project sites island wide as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least two years of relevant project experience, preferably involving security systems or ELV projects.
• Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, networking or related ELV systems.
• Experience coordinating site installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Good project coordination, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Possess a valid Class 3 or Class 2B license and have access to a car or motorcycle, if required for regular site deployment.
• Able to support night or weekend project activities when required.
