Project Engineer (Site)

• Monitor site progress related to steel structure works and conduct inspections on fabrication activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.

• Participate in the project management cycle including planning, implementation, execution, and coordination with relevant parties for steel fabrication and structural works.

• Attend client meetings and site meetings to provide updates on steel structure project progress.

• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams on technical matters related to steel structure works.

• Supervise workers in fabrication, steel structure installation, and material loading and unloading activities.

• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for steel installation and painting works.

• Set up and supervise bending and cutting machines for fabrication works.

• Place orders for raw materials according to project requirements.

• Prepare method statements and site daily reports.

• Oversee the fabrication process to ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Conduct inspections on subcontracted works to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or Head of Department (HOD) from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experiences in related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, structural installation, welding processes, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
