Project Engineer/ Site Engineer

As  Project Engineer / Site Engineer ( Civil / Structural Engineer) , you would be responsible to run multiple projects concurrently from concept through to completion, working closely with multiple clients throughout the project to ensure milestones and outcomes are achieved. You will be supported by and reporting directly to the company director.

You will be responsible for driving a project portfolio  with each project typically ranging in size and value.

• Strong technical abilities required, we are seeking a  civil / structural engineer with a bachelor degree or higher
• Project initiation and planning, due diligence, engineering and design phase management, development approvals, tendering and procurement and construction phases until close-out
• Contract / commercial negotiation and control throughout the tender and construction phases will be key
• Effective management of WHS & Environment, technical finesse / practical field engineering, reporting (budget, schedule, stakeholders) excellence in Quality Assurance / Control and Surveillance
• Exemplary communications amongst all project stakeholders and excellent client relations

About You:

• Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 3 years+ project delivery experience as project engineer or site engineer.
• Experience working with concrete structures/ formwork.
• Ideally experience working in (local) government and / or heavy industry experience with onsite construction site experience
• Thrives working in a challenging, fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects and multiple clients at a time
• Consultative approach to stakeholder engagement and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving and strong client focus
• A can-do attitude with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work
• Legally permitted to work in Australia permanently
