Project Engineer (Solar)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Project Engineer (Solar) to manage the execution of solar PV projects from planning through commissioning. The successful candidate will oversee site activities, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise solar PV project execution.
• Manage site installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Review drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project schedule, progress, quality, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Identify project risks and resolve technical or site issues promptly.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in solar PV, electrical engineering, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiar with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and project documentation.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
• Possess own transport.
