Project Engineer / Sr.Project Engineer / Assistance Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support new project / new program activities from project planning through product launch.
• Monitor project timing, cost, quality, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
• Coordinate with Design/Engineering teams on CAD data, drawings, specifications, and engineering changes.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding project requirements, part specifications, samples, tooling, and preparation schedules.
• Plan and control new tooling preparation, timing, and costs.
• Coordinate BOM issuance and establish/control tooling budgets in FEP.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities in accordance with customer and company requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, and related documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Ensure potential hazards are identified and appropriate risk control measures are implemented during project activities

Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or New Product Introduction, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, BOM, tooling, and project cost management.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, CAD data, and specifications.
• Good understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, including assembly and injection.
• Strong project planning, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project; CAD/design software knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, time management, and project execution skills.
• Senior-level candidates should have proven experience in project management and team leadership.
