Project Engineer (Structural Steel Works)

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a proven track record in structural steel works and experience handling projects such as warehouses, hangars, industrial buildings, and other steel structures. The role is responsible for coordinating project execution and ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises and coordinates the execution of structural steel fabrication, erection, and installation works;
• Monitors project progress, schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion;
• Reviews and interprets structural, shop, fabrication, and erection drawings;
• Coordinates with the Management, site teams, fabricators, steel erectors, subcontractors, and suppliers;
• Ensures proper installation, alignment, bolting, and welding of structural steel components;
• Monitors project costs, material utilization, productivity, and work quality;
• Conducts site inspections and resolves technical and construction-related issues;
• Ensures compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements;
• Prepares progress reports, site documentation, material requests, and other project records;
• Coordinates with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant project engineering experience
• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and erection
• Experience handling warehouses, hangars, industrial buildings, large-span steel structures, or similar projects is highly preferred
• Proficient in reading structural drawings and using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Strong project coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Willing to work on project sites and travel as required
