Project Engineer Trainee

About the Role

Are you a passionate and driven electrical or electronic engineering graduate looking to launch your career? We are seeking a project engineer to join our team in Malir Cantt, Karachi. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in project execution and proposal development within the electrical domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Support: Assist in reviewing technical specifications, project scopes, drawings, and client requirements to support the preparation of project proposals.
• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Assist senior team members in analyzing BOQs, BOMs, drawings, and technical documents to prepare preliminary cost estimates and project budgets.
• Project Planning Support: Assist project managers and senior engineers in developing project timelines, work plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordination & Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders under the guidance of senior team members to support smooth project execution.
• Technical Communication: Assist in preparing proposal presentations, technical documents, and project information for internal teams and clients.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and organize project-related documentation, including drawings, specifications, quotations, reports, and client communications.
• Client Support: Assist senior team members in communicating with clients, understanding project requirements, responding to inquiries, and maintaining professional client relationships.
• Learning & Development: Develop practical knowledge of construction proposals, estimating, project planning, technical documentation, and client coordination through hands-on training and assigned projects.

What We're Looking For

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering is required.
• Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of professional experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: A solid understanding of electrical systems and engineering concepts.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
• Analytical Abilities: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
