Project Engineer (WTP/Miri/Lawas)

We are cordially looking for a career minded and project driven engineer to assist with the on coming new project based in Kuching/Miri/Lawas/Sarawak. M&E and Water Distribution infrastructure for East Malaysia. Job Summary

The incumbent shall possess strong track on planning, tracking, forecasting, resourcing, capabilities including manage project technical activities, quality and timeline. The Project Engineer is responsible for the day to day problem solving of ongoing projects and will establish critical program workflow for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

Project Engineer also required to work with multiple discipline projects by demonstrating excellent project management and good supervision capabilities.

• Handle Preparation, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned project work programs.
• Formulate project KPI and assigning responsibilities to the most capable person and monitoring the project team performance.
• Interacting with clients, main contractor directive and requirements, and representing them in the field when required.
• Performing control on project budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's progress status.
• Working together and communicate with the project manager and other project participants. Contribute new ideas to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
• Review the engineering design and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
• Adhere to project specifications as awarded according to contracts.
• Ensure suffice project's needed tools, equipment and machineries.
• Lead the frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
• Monitor field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
• Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, safety practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Project Engineer Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Prefer 2-3 years' field on Water Projects (WTP) or M&E
• Experience to work in infra structure projects also and added advantage.
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Based at KUCHING/MIRI/LAWAS/SARAWAK

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
