Project Engineer/Architect

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the assigned project site.
• Ensure that construction works are performed in accordance with approved plans, drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of ongoing works.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and other required project reports.
• Monitor manpower attendance, productivity, work assignments, and site activities.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel regarding project requirements.
• Review plans, drawings, technical specifications, and site conditions and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and other concerned personnel regarding technical concerns, changes, delays, and site issues.
• Monitor the proper use, handling, and availability of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in preparing material requests, quantity take-offs, accomplishment reports, and other project documentation.
• Monitor project timelines and immediately report delays, risks, and potential schedule impacts.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, construction standards, safety policies, and site regulations.
• Document site conditions, progress, deficiencies, and completed works through photographs and reports.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of punch lists and ensure that corrective works are properly completed.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and other project requirements with clients, consultants, and relevant personnel.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of progress billings and project accomplishments when required.
• Maintain complete and organized project records and documentation.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to project implementation as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Preferably a licensed Civil Engineer or Architect, depending on the assigned role and project requirements.
• With experience in construction/site operations is required.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Must be organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
