Project Engineering (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering to join our team at FPG Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd in Kuantan, Pahang. This is a full-time temporary position responsible for overseeing and coordinating various engineering projects within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our engineering initiatives.

What we're looking for

Lead, manage and execute site construction activities under capital projects to ensure construction are executed within time, budget and adhering to civil and structural, mechanical and health, safety and environment (HS&E) standards while still maintaining quality construction works.

Must have process knowledge in the area (or have demonstrated the capability to learn the area quickly). Process knowledge includes draw process from memory, knows max / min rates for the process and process bottlenecks, knows transformations and purpose of each unit ops, knows all product specs and associated centerlines and familiar with most SOP's for the area.

1. Degree in Engineering (Civil & Structural,Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Preferred) or Diploma with equivalent Mechanical / Maintenance Experience.

2. Has more than 5 year experience in Operations or Engineering fields.

3. Has performed and demonstrated capability in developing schedules and leading construction activities.

4. Has good communication skill and able to deal with internal and external customer.

5. Independent and can work with least supervision.

6. Understand Construction Standards used in the Chemicals Module (or have demonstrated the capability to learn them quickly)

7. Know Materials of Construction / design requirements for different areas.

8)Understand ASME Code and DOSH requirements for new vessels and vessel repairs.
