TempExperts is seeking a Project Engineering/Preconstruction professional to support project engineering and preconstruction activities within a construction environment based in Tampa, FL. This position will work closely with project teams to support estimating, bidding, scheduling, project documentation, and financial processes from preconstruction through project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Engineering and Preconstruction teams with day-to-day project coordination and administrative functions.
• Utilize Procore and Sage for project reporting, workflows, documentation, and related project processes.
• Provide preconstruction and estimating support, including construction takeoffs and bid preparation.
• Assist with project scheduling and coordination of project activities.
• Solicit subcontractor bids, follow up on outstanding proposals, and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors.
• Review, organize, and compare subcontractor proposals as part of the bid leveling process.
• Assist with proposal comparisons, scope reviews, and preparation of bid information.
• Maintain project documentation, records, reports, and other construction-related files.
• Support owner billing and subcontractor invoicing processes.
• Assist with project-related reporting, tracking, and document management.
• Coordinate information between project, estimating, preconstruction, subcontractor, and administrative teams.
• Help ensure project information and documentation are accurate, organized, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting construction project engineering, preconstruction, estimating, or project coordination functions.
• Strong experience using Procore, including reporting, workflows, and project documentation.
• Experience with Sage or similar construction accounting/project management software.
• Experience with construction takeoffs, estimating support, and bid preparation.
• Familiarity with subcontractor solicitation, bid follow-up, and proposal comparisons.
• Experience with project scheduling and construction document management.
• Understanding of owner billing and subcontractor invoicing processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
