Project Engineers

Wintake Fire Engineering Sdn Bhd is a leading Malaysian Fire Protection Engineering company established in 2013. We specialize in the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Fire Protection Systems for Data Centres, Semiconductor Facilities, Petrochemical Plants, Oil & Gas Facilities, Manufacturing Plants and Commercial Developments.

We are an authorized distributor and system integrator for internationally recognized fire protection brands and are involved in many high-profile industrial projects throughout Malaysia.

As part of our business expansion, we are seeking dynamic and motivated Project Engineers to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate fire protection projects from commencement to completion. Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, main contractors and project stakeholders.

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning activities.

• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, schedule and cost performance.

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to resolve technical and site issues.

• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, contract requirements and relevant standards.

• Review technical drawings, method statements and project documentation.

• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel to ensure work quality and productivity.

• Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning activities with clients and authorities.

• Prepare project reports, progress updates, site records and project documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Master, Degree, Higher Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related engineering disciplines.

• Candidates with 1–5 years of project engineering experience in Fire Protection, M&E, Building Services, Construction or Industrial Projects will have an added advantage.

Fresh graduates from reputable local universities and colleges such as TAR UMT, UTAR, UTM, UPM, UKM, MMU and similar institutions are encouraged to apply.

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate and coordinate with China EPC contractor will be an added advantage.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to travel and work at project sites throughout Malaysia when required.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
