Project Estimator – Commercial Flooring & Tile

United Marble & Tile is seeking a part-time Project Estimator to join our team. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position focused on estimating commercial flooring and wall tile projects.

Position Details

• Pay: $18.00/hour
• Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week
• Schedule: Flexible, with work completed remotely
• Location: Remote / Work from Home
• Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

• Complete material and quantity takeoffs from commercial construction plans
• Review architectural drawings and project specifications
• Perform takeoffs for commercial flooring and wall tile
• Measure and calculate quantities accurately
• Review scopes of work and identify flooring and tile requirements
• Assist with preparing project estimates and bids
• Communicate with the estimating team regarding questions, discrepancies, and project requirements
• Maintain organized electronic project files and takeoff documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of construction experience or related industry experience
• Working knowledge of commercial construction
• Understanding of flooring and/or tile installation is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Organized and able to work independently
• Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with computers and digital construction documents

Work-from-Home Requirements

Because this is a fully remote position, applicants must provide their own:

• Reliable computer capable of handling construction plans and estimating software
• High-speed, reliable internet connection
• Professional workspace suitable for focused work

Experience with construction estimating, plan takeoff software, Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar programs is a plus.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
