PROJECT ESTIMATOR

Key Responsibilities

Drawing & Technical Review

• Review architectural, interior and construction drawings.
• Understand project layouts, dimensions, specifications and requirements.
• Review project requirements and identify suitable Kaisu products and solutions.

Estimation & Quotation

• Prepare quantity take-offs and project costing.
• Prepare quotations based on drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare product proposals and recommendations.
• Obtain and check supplier/factory pricing.
• Review and update costing when supplier prices change.
• Monitor quotation validity for projects that may take an extended period before confirmation.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

• Follow up on project and quotation status.

• Maintain proper records of drawings, quotations, revisions and project information.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or related fields.
• Able to read and understand architectural/construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.
• Willing to attend site visits and meetings when required.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
