Project Estimator (Sales & Customer Service)

As a Project Estimator, you will be the bridge between our customers, our showroom staff, and our installation teams. This role combines construction technicalities with customer service and sales. You will work hand-in-hand with our internal sales team, visit job sites to perform precise measurements, interact directly with clients to close sales, and draft accurate project estimates.We currently have two territories available—candidates will be assigned to either the Huntingdon & Yeagertown region or the Selinsgrove & Lewisburg region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Evaluation & Measurement: Visit residential and commercial job sites to take precise physical measurements and evaluate subfloor/job readiness.
• Retail Team Collaboration: Work closely with our retail sales staff to smoothly transition showroom leads into accurate field estimates and finalized jobs.
• Sales & Consulting: Consult with homeowners, contractors, and businesses to guide them toward the right flooring solutions and confidently close sales.
• Estimate Preparation: Create accurate, detailed cost estimates and material take-offs for flooring installations.
• Customer Relationship Management: Deliver exceptional customer service from the initial measurement through to the final installation inspection.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in construction, flooring, or a trade services environment, coupled with a proven background in sales and customer service.
• Skills: Ability to read blueprints/floorplans, perform accurate mathematical calculations, and use digital estimation tools or tablets.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently present options and build strong partnerships with internal showroom staff.
• Travel & Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Attributes: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in the field.

Pay: $40,600.00 - $73,100.00 per year
