PROJECT EXECUTIVE (CIVIL) FOR RETAIL CONSTRUCTION

EXP: 5+ YEARS OF RETAIL OUTLETS CONSTRUCTION

oversees the planning, execution, design, and completion of retail store openings, renovations, fit-outs, or retail technology rollouts from concept to handover.

• Project Planning & Execution: Manage end-to-end delivery of store developments, layout updates, or retail application/IT rollouts.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and track project budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, manage Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and ensure on-budget delivery.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Source and coordinate contractors, interior designers, architects, landlords, and fixture suppliers.
• Site & Quality Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor civil, electrical, HVAC, lighting, signage, and interior build-outs against brand guidelines and safety codes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Procurement, Finance, and IT/POS teams.
• Risk & Timeline Tracking: Identify potential bottlenecks, manage schedules (using tools like MS Project or Gantt charts), and report progress to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business.
• Experience: Generally 5 to 8 years of experience in retail store development, fit-outs, or retail project management.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, floor plans, and technical/architectural specifications.
• Software & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and design/ERP platforms (depending on whether the role leans toward physical fit-outs or retail tech/IT support).

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
