Project Executive

About the role

Maxcon Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Executive to join our dynamic team in the Yishun North Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction and engineering projects. As a Project Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting project activities, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This role is instrumental in bridging communication between site teams, management, and stakeholders, directly contributing to project success and the company's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in the planning, scheduling and coordination of construction projects from inception through to completion
• Monitoring project progress and tracking key performance indicators against established timelines and budgets
• Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including reports, correspondence and site records
• Assisting in the management of project budgets, costs and financial forecasting
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
• Supporting the coordination of meetings and site walkthroughs with relevant stakeholders
• Identifying and escalating project risks and issues to senior management in a timely manner
• Assisting with tender documentation and project proposal preparation
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice implementation across projects

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or project executive role within the construction industry
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
• Sound knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
• Ability to work on-site and in the field environment
• Familiarity with Singapore's construction regulations and safety standards (BCA, MOM requirements) is advantageous
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
