Project Executive - Mission Critical Construction

An established and nationally recognized general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Executive to lead large-scale commercial and mission critical projects throughout the Columbus market and surrounding regions.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a construction professional with a strong operational background, proven client relationship experience, and the ability to oversee complex projects and teams from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple large-scale mission critical construction projects
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and operational teams
• Drive project performance related to safety, scheduling, budgeting, quality, and client satisfaction
• Participate in business development efforts and help strengthen long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams during pursuit and planning phases
• Ensure operational consistency and accountability across projects and teams
• Support strategic growth initiatives within the Ohio market
• Maintain strong communication with ownership groups, design teams, and subcontractor partners

Qualifications

• Proven experience overseeing large-scale Mission Critical projects
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience managing multiple projects and operational teams simultaneously
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and contract management
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
