Project Executive (Interior Design)

Job Summary

Oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery. Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while maintaining compliance and supporting procurement and handover processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth and effective project delivery

Manage daily on-site activities and proactively identify risks or delays to keep projects on track

Prepare comprehensive site reports, inspection records, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders

Coordinate with clients, landlords, and building management to obtain site access and necessary approvals

Supervise subcontractors and on-site teams while conducting regular safety inspections to ensure regulatory compliance

Perform quality checks on workmanship and materials to maintain high project standards

Assist with procurement, sourcing, and quotation coordination to support project requirements

Facilitate smooth project handover by ensuring all deliverables are completed and properly documented

Required competencies and certifications

Knowledge of site safety practices to maintain a secure working environment

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation

Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed for project coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, interior fit-out, or construction

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with clients, contractors, and management

Strong problem-solving abilities to address project challenges proactively

Ability to work independently with a deadline-driven and self-motivated mindset

Hands-on attitude with a strong sense of accountability and ownership of project responsibilities
