Project Executive / Merchandiser (NPI/Product Development)

About the role

Support new product development projects from concept through product launch, coordinating activities across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support new product development projects from concept through product launch
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and manufacturing teams
• Track project schedules, milestones and deliverables
• Follow up project issues and drive actions to completion
• Work closely with OEM/ODM manufacturers and suppliers
• Support product validation, production readiness and launch activities
• Coordinate certification and compliance activities
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Travel regularly to Shenzhen and Dongguan for factory visits, supplier meetings and project follow-up

Requirements

• 3-8 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in project coordination, product development, NPI, manufacturing, operations or related functions
• Experience working with OEM/ODM manufacturers is preferred
• Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, IoT, security products or related industries is an advantage
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership (candidates MUST possess strong hands-on project coordination skill. We preferred someone who can roll up their sleeves and handle all the problems instead of sitting in the office to oversee the subordinates)
• Proactive, responsible and strong problem - solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good spoken/written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Able to communicate effectively with mainland China suppliers and manufacturing partners
