Project Finance

Role Summary:

The incumbent should adept at origination, structuring, and execution of financing documents

for medium to large transactions. They should be specialized in developing accurate financial

models, implementing sensitivity analysis, and providing strategic input to financing activities.

The incumbent should be expert in analyzing financing options for business development

projects and contributing to M&A Due Diligence, including coordination with external financial

advisors.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead or support the origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of financing

documents (internal or project finance) for medium to large size transactions.

 Develop robust financial models to support investment decisions, following group

guidelines. Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and correct incorporation of

relevant inputs to such models. Propose and implement relevant sensitivity analysis.

 Analyse, evaluate and recommend financing options and proposals as they relate to a

business development project or other funding needs. Participation in the selection of

funding sources / institutions.

 Assist the business development decision making process, identifying key financial

indicators to be applied and monitored for investment decisions.

 Contribute to financial Due Diligence on M&A opportunities, including coordination of

external financial advisors.

Skills &Competencies:

 MBA in finance and/or Engineering /Qualified CA

Minimum 3-4 years in project/ infra finance post qualification.

 Strong financial modelling skills

 Willingness to take up responsibility and ownership.

 Intent to work at a pace required to meet deliverables/ targets.

 Exposure to origination, transactions and raising debt.

 Excellent Communication skills
