Project Finance Executive

At Polat Energy, we have been playing a pioneering role in the renewable energy sector since 2000, representing approximately 6% of Türkiye's installed renewable energy capacity.

With 11 wind and solar power plants operating across Türkiye and Europe, we have reached a total installed capacity of 1,135 MW, generating 2.5 billion kWh of clean electricity annually and contributing to the reduction of approximately 1.3 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

We are looking for a Project Finance Executive to join our team at our Head Office in Kağıthane, Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Project Finance.
• Strong knowledge of loan agreements, security agreements, and banking processes related to investment financing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong conceptual, strategic, and analytical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of financial modeling.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Previous experience in the energy or energy infrastructure sector, or in the project finance departments of banks, is preferred.

Job Description

• Manage all documentation, review, and evaluation processes related to loan and security agreements for project financing, from negotiation through execution, in close cooperation with the Legal Department and/or appointed external legal counsel.
• Monitor payments in accordance with existing loan and partnership agreements, track cash and non-cash credit facility limits and exposures with banks, and maintain up-to-date financial tracking reports.
• Reviewing decisions for compliance with contractual terms, ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations, and regularly negotiating and coordinating the execution and signing processes of Supplemental Security Agreements (Additional Receivables Pledge Agreements, Additional Account Pledge Agreements, Additional Insurance Receivables Pledge Agreements, etc.).
• Manage notifications to third parties and follow up on the receipt of relevant confirmations.
• Monitor compliance with financial conditions stipulated in loan agreements and manage the necessary review, amendment, documentation, and analysis processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals, supporting financial close and ongoing financing activities.
• Manage investment and financing processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and develop effective solutions.
• Monitor financial covenants under loan agreements and coordinate regular reporting to lenders.
• Act as a key point of contact for lenders, advisors, and other third parties throughout project financing and monitoring processes, including the provision of financial information, environmental assessments, and contractual matters, in coordination with relevant internal departments such as Legal, Technical, Business Development, Reporting, Treasury, and Accounting.
