Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Financial Controller to manage financial tracking, project budgeting, and cost control across design and construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, senior partners, and the accounting team to ensure project profitability, accurate financial forecasts, and strict budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the financial operations and accounting of multi-phase architectural and design projects.

* Monitor project budgets, track billed hours, review project expenditures, and identify cost variances.

* Collaborate with project managers to review project progress, milestone payments, and billing arrangements.

* Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) related to specific project contracts and subcontractors.

* Prepare monthly financial reports, profit and loss analyses, and cash flow forecasts for projects under construction.

* Ensure compliance with contract terms, client billing guidelines, and internal financial control requirements.

* Assist management in annual budget planning and financial risk management.

Job Requirements:

3+ years of experience in project accounting, financial control, or corporate finance (experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or commercial real estate is preferred).

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP function) and ERP/accounting software (such as Deltek, QuickBooks, or NetSuite).

In-depth understanding of project budgeting, revenue recognition, and cost accounting.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
