We handle full home remodels, kitchen and bathroom renovations, ADUs, additions, custom builds, and fire rebuilds.

The Role
D&H is looking for a Project Foreman / Field Superintendent to run our active job sites from the ground up — both the physical work and the coordination that keeps it moving. You're the person crews and subs answer to on-site, and the one responsible for keeping schedules, documentation, and communication organized so nothing falls through the cracks. This role combines site supervision with project coordination, working directly with ownership rather than through a separate coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership

• Maintain daily on-site presence across assigned projects; sequence and coordinate trade schedules
• Verify completed work matches approved plans, specs, and D&H quality standards; manage punch lists through close-out
• Direct and oversee subcontractors day-to-day — scope, sequencing, workmanship, and performance issues
• Manage site logistics: material deliveries, staging, dumpster placement, and C&D waste tracking where applicable (e.g., Green Halo for Pasadena/Altadena jobs)
• Enforce OSHA and Southern California code compliance on every site

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate permitting and inspection scheduling with LADBS and other local building departments
• Track action items across active projects and follow up to ensure accountability
• Maintain correspondence and documentation records to support a clear project audit trail
• Submit daily site reports and photo documentation through D&H's project system
• Flag schedule risks, change conditions, or scope issues to ownership promptly

Qualifications

• 2-3 years as a foreman or superintendent in residential construction, ideally in high-end remodel or custom-build settings
• Working knowledge of LADBS permitting processes and Southern California building codes
• Solid grasp of OSHA safety standards (OSHA 10/30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain)
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred — you'll be directing crews daily
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation between job sites
• Comfortable using a project management platform for daily logs, scheduling, and documentation (Houzz Pro experience a plus; Procore/Bluebeam familiarity welcome)
• Experience managing multiple trades simultaneously in occupied or high-end residential environments
• Strong organizational habits — this role owns both the site and its paper trail
• Able to walk active job sites, climb ladders/stairs, and work outdoors in varied conditions

Compensation & Growth
$60,000–$75,000/year, depending on experience. This role has significant room to grow as D&H's project volume increases — including expanded scope and responsibility as the company's primary site and coordination lead.
