Project HVAC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project HVAC Engineer to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in HVAC works within the UAE construction industry, with strong knowledge of project execution, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise HVAC works throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate HVAC activities with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Monitor HVAC installation works at site and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor project progress and ensure HVAC works are completed within the required schedule.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure HVAC works comply with relevant UAE regulations, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions as required.
• Maintain proper documentation, inspection records, and project reports.
• Support the project team during testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering within the UAE construction industry.
• UAE construction experience is mandatory.
• Experience in building construction projects with a main contractor is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction drawings.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred
