PROJECT IN-CHARGE

About the role

The Project In-Charge is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, and monitoring of assigned construction projects. The position ensures that project activities are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day activities at the project site
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved plans, drawings, specifications, and project schedule
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of activities
• Coordinate with project management, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other concerned parties
• Identify project issues, delays, and site concerns and coordinate appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor ongoing construction works
• Prepare and submit regular project progress reports
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and project safety requirements
• Monitor availability and proper use of construction materials, equipment, and tools
• Supervise and coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in construction project supervision or project management
• Experience in building construction, structural works, fit-out, steel structure, or related construction works is preferred
• Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, project scheduling, and site coordination
• Familiarity with construction safety and quality control procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD and project scheduling software is an advantage
• Strong coordination, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to be assigned to project sites and work extended hours when project requirements call for it
