Project In-Charge

The Project-In-Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of construction projects. The PIC ensures that all project activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, contract specifications, and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects
• Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies
• Supervise Site Engineers, Office Engineers, Foremen, and other project personnel
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Review and approve work schedules, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization
• Monitor project cost and assist in budget control and cost-saving initiatives
• Identify project risks and implement corrective, preventive actions
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordination meetings
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment
• Review and verify billing accomplishment, progress claims, and subcontractor accomplishments
• Resolve technical and operational issues encountered during project implementation
• Ensure proper documentation of project records, permits, and correpondence
• Turnover completed projects to the client and ensure proper project close-out

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction project management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Average communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
• Knowledegeable in project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and quality assurance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software such as Microsoft Project
• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites
