Project Industrial Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Project Industrial Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will drive cross-functional execution across manufacturing systems, process improvements, and program transfers in a multi-site environment. The position will partner closely with operations, customer-facing teams, and site leadership to support launches, startup activity, and ongoing performance improvements. The ideal candidate will help strengthen operational efficiency, compliance, and cost performance while advancing key customer and business objectives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,100 – $180,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing systems and processes
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements in manufacturing
• Promote improvements in customer metrics to support satisfaction and business objectives
• Act as a liaison for program transfers between various sites
• Provide technical support during program launches and new facility startups
• Conduct time studies and work measurement to enhance process efficiency
• Develop and implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field required
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Experience leading cross-functional projects across multiple sites preferred
• Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives essential
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and operational excellence principles required
