We are hiring experienced Project Leads for a short-term Contractor/Freelance Engagement to Lead and manage a large-scale AI Training, Data Annotation & Model Evaluation Project in India.

Role: Project Lead – AI Training & Data Annotation & Model Evaluation

Experience: 7+ Years

Mode: Remote

Engagement: Contractor / Short-Term Contract (16 Weeks)

Start Date: Immediate

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Technical Qualifications:

• 7+ years of overall professional experience , including at least 4+ years of experience in team leadership or project management .
• Proven experience managing complex, high-volume projects with tight deadlines and multiple deliverables.
• Strong client communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Experience managing project scope, resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and end-to-end delivery.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions using performance metrics, productivity reports, quality scores, and turnaround times.
• Experience identifying project risks, resolving operational challenges, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and guide Team Leads while collaborating with Quality Managers to maintain delivery and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in AI training, data annotation, data labeling, RLHF, SFT, or AI model evaluation is preferred.
• Ability to manage fast-paced projects with strict delivery timelines, including turnaround requirements of 24 hours or less.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, including BCA, B.Tech, B.E., MCA, or M.Tech. .

Availability Requirements:

• Availability to work five days per week , including weekends as required, with two weekdays off.
• Working hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM PST .
• Ability to coordinate with global clients and distributed teams as required.

• Personal laptop/desktop and stable high-speed internet.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

What You'll Work On:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI training, annotation, and model evaluation projects.
• Define and manage project scope, resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and manage ongoing stakeholder communication.
• Lead, mentor, and support Team Leads to ensure smooth project execution and team performance.
• Collaborate with Quality Managers to maintain quality standards and meet client expectations.
• Monitor productivity, throughput, accuracy, quality scores, and turnaround times.
• Make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and project outcomes.
• Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and delivery challenges, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Scale teams and allocate resources according to changing project requirements.
• Establish and improve workflows, processes, and performance monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality and productivity targets.
• Manage urgent deliverables and support quick decision-making in a dynamic, high-volume project environment.
