Project Lead

Role Overview

Lead and manage the technical team responsible for the design, development, integration, data processing, deployment, and production support of the Farmer Loan Waiver Portal. Drive end-to-end technical delivery while coordinating closely with banks, government departments, business teams, QA, infrastructure teams, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and delivery of the Farmer Loan Waiver Portal and its associated modules.
• Manage end-to-end business and technical processes, including bank data upload, data validation, eligibility determination, eKYC, beneficiary processing, approval workflows, and payment processing.
• Lead frontend development using React.js and backend development using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and REST APIs.
• Manage MS SQL Server and MySQL databases, including large-volume data processing, query optimization, data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
• Design, implement, and manage integrations with payment gateways, eKYC services, AgriStack, and other third-party/external APIs.
• Coordinate with banks, government/department officials, QA teams, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor application performance, system availability, production health, and critical operational issues.
• Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, security practices, and development best practices.
• Assign tasks, manage workloads, mentor team members, monitor progress, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical application, database, performance, deployment, and third-party integration issues.
• Support application deployment and production releases, including coordination with infrastructure and DevOps teams.
• Prepare technical status reports, issue reports, progress updates, and management dashboards and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for system performance improvements, process automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software development and application delivery.
• 23+ years of experience in a Technical Lead / Team Lead role.
• Experience working on banking, financial transactions, government portals, public-sector applications, or other large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with high-volume transactional systems and data processing.
• Proven experience in technical team management, task allocation, mentoring, and delivery management.
• Strong experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including banks, government departments, business teams, QA, infrastructure, and external vendors.
• Experience handling production-critical applications and time-sensitive issue resolution.
