Project Lead

Project Lead – Data Centre Construction | Helsinki, Finland

We are recruiting an experienced Project Lead to join a major data centre construction programme near Helsinki, Finland .

This is a senior, site-based delivery position requiring someone who can take ownership of programme, budget, multidisciplinary construction teams, subcontractors and client delivery from construction through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project delivery against programme, budget, quality and safety requirements
• Coordinate CSA, MEP, design and commissioning teams
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Monitor critical milestones and implement recovery plans where required
• Support procurement and long-lead equipment decisions
• Review construction scope, pricing and subcontract estimates
• Manage commercial impacts arising from design and engineering changes
• Lead client and project coordination meetings
• Oversee completion, commissioning interfaces and final project handover

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience in senior construction/project delivery
• Strong data centre or mission-critical construction experience
• Proven ownership of project programme and budget
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Strong commercial and procurement understanding
• Experience managing complex technical interfaces across CSA and MEP
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability
• Experience through commissioning and handover
• Willingness to work on site near Helsinki, Finland

Direct data centre experience is strongly preferred, although candidates from similarly complex technical environments may be considered where they can demonstrate transferable project leadership.
